It has affected me for around a year, is this athletes foot or something of the like? I often put it in salt water to clean it and i was told to use a knife to try and cut it off. This partly helped bit it is now cut down to a level where it is sensitive to touch

I'm 15 and I have a problem with the skin on my vagina. I used to shave a lot when I was on holiday and my skin is sensitive and it became irritated, I scratched it and the skin went really sore, now my skin has healed but its extremely pale white and has been for a couple of years. I just wanted to know if I was the only one who has experienced this problem and if it will go away or not. I'm too scared to go see my GP to ask them because I'm too worried, help? :s

Since you have already seen the two specialties of urology and dermatology and you aren't getting any better, then it sounds like you need ultra-specialized services, such as you might find in a university school of medicine, but not just any old university school of medicine. I would suggest that you research the various schools of medicine or research centers in your country and talk to specialists in these two fields to see which university school of medicine or research center is held in the highest esteem among colleagues.

relating to guy comment about the foreskin it is possible to have yourself to be circumcised because it definitely keep your skin where your penis is cleaner. It is sensitive without the skin. With the skin on it may be too sensitive that ejaculation may occur moreffrequently. Religion or not or money with is not the issues but simply the facts of you feel when your having sex with another partner or mastetbating. Masterbating is normal anyone so using your foreskin and warm water baby oil can help the pain.I hope I was helpful to you and others who may have this concearn. Have a good day.

Tsvjust in grown hairs :) everyone gets them. Your vaguna just has to get use to it with the grain. It's like a mans face when shaving sometimes you just get ingrown hairs. Also it's normal for it to hurt because of how sensitive your skin is down there. And some girls skin is more sensitive then others (like me) I can't shave the main area just trim around and on top but not shave completely.

Hi, i'm 18 year old and i'm constantly getting spots. The are eally sore and once i had a boil on my face and had to use magnesium paste to burst it which was only a spot to start with. Circumcision causes the penis to become less sensitive to unwanted stimulation because the surface of the glans has developed a thick dry layer of keratin (toughened skin), but also it makes it less sensitive to the more subtle qualities of lovemakeing..............

Hi I'm 15 and have terribly sensitive skin. I can't use most laundry detergents and softeners. Because my skin is so sensitive I have really bad acne. I've tried facial masks and creams but nothing seems to clear it up on my face, neck, and back. When I pop them the seed comes out but it closes again and a clear or light bloody liquid comes out. I drink plenty of water and do everything I possibly can at my age but it never gets better. I've been called many names like pizza face or crater face. It's made me a little self conscious about it. But it's just something I can't help even though I want to.

A couple days ago i had a nice sized lump under my right breast it was painful to the touch and after two days a great amount of pus started coming out of it. Now that area of my breast is red kind of sensitive to touch and looks like the skin was scrapped or rubbed off with three little white spots... I put a band aid on it and cholked it up to the fact that i have sensitive skin and my bra might have rubbed up against it but if that was the case it would have happened to both breasts and not just one right ?!?! Should i get checked out ?!

Girls I'm a guy. Look God made you the way he made you. If your vaginal looks like #1 or #25 it doesn't matter why? Because you and your partner are the only two that are inter acting with eachother sexually don't be ashamed for having a #10 sweetheart embrace and just accept your #10 vagina. For the women who have red bumps in that sensitive area: check what type of razor you are using if you are using one that is more or less for legs that could be what is causing the irritation. Try buying one that has the most blades and even one that has the strip across for sensitive skin also you need to go with the grain not against it. Remember your legs are not as sensitive as your vaginal area. I know because I shave my fiance in that area.

I can get bad spots on my bottom as I sensitive skin, but I get it from sweat and sitting down all day and little movement and wearing the wrong underwear. As a result, I do a regular routine of exfoliation (with some exfoliating gloves) and sensitive (not heavy creams) creams and wearing the right underwear. I tend not to wear g-strings as my jeans irratate my skin and cause more. I hardly get them now. Also if they hurt and there angry, after a bath - and I know this is bad! - with clean hands andd twezzers, I will pop them, but then put healing cream like Sudocrem on and let them dry. After two days tey are gone! That does the trick for me. If its REALLY bad, go to a doctor.

hi hayley, i went to a specialist who suggest taking a shower every day or every two days and using e45 or any cream that says it helps with seriously dry skin. this show help with your skin drying out and the inching. the problem is with the E45 you should use it everyday and well as moisturising shower gels and when it comes to waxing or shaving your legs make sure you are using the ones that say for sensitive skin as the normal skin wax strips and shaving gel with irritate or even dry your skin out a bit more.

Helen i also get bad skin in the winter... its because the mixture of central heating and the cold air outside drys your skin out and can cause irritation so you need 2 change your moisturiser during the cold months to something thats sutible for your skin, its obvs quite sensitive like mine so try something like simple or amie products, e45 is also really gud, theres a product thats in a tube especially for itchy dry skin that really works for me xx

I have the same problem. Its been two year now. The doctors gave me Telfast medication to take away the itch but ever since its made me dehydrated and the itch is still there. its really weird because when i get hot or the area gets wet it is uncontrollably itchy and the skin has raised bumps like something has bit me. I my skin is so sensitive now that when i scratch i take off my skin. I have to really control myself. My skin on the arms and sides of my belly look like they have been burnt. Please let me know if its the same.

darker skin around the outer vagina is normal. However, if you have sensitive skin, shaving can cause small nicks or abrasions of the skin if done improperly and cause the skin of the outer vagina to darken more than what is normal. This darkening is called hyperpigmentation. You may need to wax instead. See a doctor such as a dermatologist for more information on how this skin should be treated.

First of all, just know that you're not alone! So many women have excessive pubic hair, and it's really nothing to worry about nor is it out of the ordinary. I would suggest a hair removal cream, but be sure to keep away from sensitive areas and apply only to the outer skin and hair. Hope this helps. I personally would never put bleach anywhere near my sensitive areas, and just remember that it will grow back dark!

read the lable of the cream immediately.... most of those creams are not meant to be placed on the sensitive areas like your genitles, but around them. you may want to contact the company that manufactured it to ask questions and/or call your doctor. if you dont have one get one and go. i am hyper sensitive to stuff like that and had a bad experience when i was in my teens. it burned my bikini line and i have darker skin there now because of it. in the future read the lable and test a small amount on your skin first, wait a couple days... if your good then go for it, if not then you know not to in the future.... ps no more unportected sex i messed up and got herpes because of it your young and you dont want to deal with that the rest of your life, get a job and buy condoms

This sounds kinda like you may need an antibacterial cream. It can be caused by wearing underwear that doesnt breathe. Perhaps change to cotton underwear? The skin around there is so sensitive, it could be your laundry powder or even the soap you use to wash yourself. Make sure you use a ph balanced soap (the vagina is so sensitive and needs to have the perfect balance of certain bacterias). I hope that helps :) good luck!!

I have ichthyosis too. I think my skin is sensitive to the emollients the Dr's prescribed. As my skin itches and is dry and flaky all over. What has the dermatologist recommended for you?

it is from shaving, you have very sensitive skin. i would quite for awhile and trying getting it professionally wax, the European style. from pretty kitty or a well known high review place. if you do decide to keep shaving, make sure you warm up your skin and get the razor hot with hot water (be careful) shave with the grain of skin, then use a nice moisturizer to smooth the skin. also helps to use cold water after done shaving so to close the pores of the skin. also wear loose close or something that wont rub up against the skin for at-least a day right after shaving.
