Hi I wondering if you could help me I have a cough and I'm having shortness of breath and I'm on my period every other week Its embarrassing and I'm scared
I am an 18 year old girl. I had the nuss procedure on my chest 2 years ago. My chest is quite unusual because on set of ribs did not grow enough causing my sternum to twist up to 90 degrees. Due to crowding of my heart and lungs along with shortness of breath and chest pains, they actually used 2 bars rather than one to fix it. I can breath now and have no more pains, but one side of my chest is still noticeably more sunken in than the other. I'm wondering if there is any non surgical possibilities.
I have a similar case with both Pectuus Carinatum and Excavatum causing my sternum to twist as well so one side of my ribcage is raised while the other is sunken. I had one nuss bar around the age of 15/16 but it worsened it. I am not sure there are any non surgical ways around it. Now 21 I have chosen to have another surgery, similar to the Ratvich where cartilage and bone is removed and the sternum is twisted. As well as this I will be seeing a plastic surgeon after my surgery.
Hi my name is nikky I am 16 years old, I failed my physical due to a heart murmur and I am always having dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pains, and feeling like im going to pass out when I play basketball this has been going on for a year and could those symptoms have anything to due with the murmur I haven't been to the doctor because I'm scared that I might get bad news. Please tell me what's going on if anyone knows thanks in advance
Nikky, best you do go to a Doctor, left unchecked could make what ever happen worst, then you will be forced to go... Better to Nip this in the Bud, now... It could be a lack of Iron, or low blood pressure, or could be your heart murmur.. Nikky, burying you head in the sand is not going to make it go away.. Year like this, is a year to long.. Grab a friend or a Carer and go with them.. It might be a mole hill and you are making a mountain in your mind.. Take care Nikky.. go and get it sorted.. m
Hi im 14 and have had both braces and a retainer, when I was l ittle my breath always smelt, even if I spent 15 mins brushing my teeth, I went to my dentist and he put me on antibiotics, for a while and it seemed to stop, but my bad breath has come back now, I chew chewing gum at school, but it doesnt help, I even take a toothbrush and tooth paste to school with me, I need help I feel really awkward around others and hardly talk for fear of my breath please help me .....
Hi, I get bad breath too even though I spend ages brushing my teeth really thoroughly. I've found that flossing at least once a day, using a toothbrush with a tongue cleaner on it and wiping that quite gently from back to front on my tongue and using 'Oraldene' mouthwash has really helped. The mouthwash tastes rank, but it works really well. Hope this helps
Hi Laura You may be dehydrated, often bad breath is a sign of this. Drink plenty of water, or if you dont like plain water try adding just a drop of squash. If you have a white coating on your tongue this is an indication of too much sugar in your diet which can also cause bad breath, so cut back on sugary drinks, sweets and fruit juices. Get yourself a tongue scraper and get used to using this every morning before you brush your teeth
I'm 17 and I've had chronic bad breath for 6 years, it could be longer but I was told 6 years ago. When I finally plucked up the courage to visit a GP, I had my tonsils removed, as I had bad tonsil stones. I have also had my wisdom teeth removed. Today I done something which I've never done, I finally told a medical professional I had bad breath, normally I disguise it with other things like a sore throat with the tonsils etc. My dentist said my teeth are perfect and I shouldn't have bad breath?! I really don't know what to do, I was so scared of saying I had bad breath, and when I do I'm not given an answer?! I brush twice a day and floss, scrape my tongue and use mouthwash. No one else in my family suffers from it, my mother has awful yellow and black rotting teeth and she's a heavy smoker and coffee drinker, but I've never smelt bad breath on her. I do get a bright yellow coating on my tongue throughout the day and I feel like I may have post nasal drip. Can anyone please help me, I know this is long but I'm desperate I'm close to suicide. Thank you
hey its not the answer. you might have gerd or post nasal drip. btw how did you know you have bad breath??
Get 3% hydrogen peroxide from the grocery store. First scrape your tongue floss and brush teeth. When you brush teeth brush the top of your mouth your gums and your vtongue. After that mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water and rinse and gargle for 45 seconds, spit it out and rinse mouth with water. Do this in the morning and before going to bed.If the source of your bad breath is your mouth or tonsils this will fix it . It works very well.
Whenever I exercise I go bright red in the face, my arms also then go red and my chest does. It's even gone so far as I've turned somewhat purple. I don't hold my breath and I breath like most people who exercise, I am not overweight and I do not smoke. Any idea what's wrong?
Hi, I have not been able to breath properly through my nose for a number of years, people at my work said I have had a cold since they have known me. I do have better days and bad days. Doctor has give me allergy table one a day and nasal spray which I don't like or use. They will not let me have the flu jab as they don't think it will help?? Does anyone know how or the best way to get rid or just be able to breath better through my nose??
My tongue is always yellowy/green right at the back and the front always looks quite white. I drink at least six glasses of water a day and the more water I drink the more thirsty I am, plus the whiteness never lessens. I have had some sinus problems but my doctor keeps saying there is nothing wrong now and won't refer me to ENT but it is a constant annoyance in my life and I do get bad breath alot of the time. I know that the bad breath started when my nose problems started and at that time the doctor said I had sinusitis plus an infection. After antibiotics I did notice a difference in my breath but now my doctor says there is nothing wrong. My diet is not unhealthy, I eat plenty of fruit and do not eat much junk food. Help.
The thick white/yellow/green coating is probably oral thrush, which is basically a yeast infection... most common in people with weak Immune Systems (babies&elderly), people taking antibiotics, someone with an infectious disease.. I am currently in a hospital taking antibiotics after surgery, and they caused oral trush, which was cured by Nystatin? (Spelling?) Its a swish-n-swallow liquid. Thrush can damage taste buds.. and give u bad breath. Worst of all.. it can make ur mouth feel numb
Every time I brush my teeth and use mouth wash, I get this icky egg like breath in my mouth and throat. I also brush my tongue. I don't get why I get this icky egg-smelling breath after I brush and use mouth wash. What should I do? I don't want this egg-like breath smell in my mouth and throat anymore
Sincw having my 1st daughter 2 1/2 years ago I noticed I started to breath heveily and cAnt breath through my nose . I feel like I've had a cold for 3 years I can't smell very good or taste.
