I am 61 yrs old and have all the classic enlarged prostate symptoms (slow urination, nocturia, burning sensation, etc). About 18 months ago I had some bleeding after urinating and my GP referred me to a urologist who used a camera to check my prostate and bladder and found no problems other than a "slight narrowing of the opening from the bladder". Several tests where also done to check my kidney function. Whilst the news that there was nothing sinister going on was extremely good to hear, unfortunately the discomfort continued and the burning sensation seems to be getting worse. Could this be chronic prostatitis, and if so why was it not apparent during the examination with the camera? I have many other ongoing symptoms which have not been explained, such as pains in both knees, digestive problems, occasional chest pains, fatigue, Reynauds and occasional bouts of diahorrea. A rheumatologist I saw about 8 years ago for my knees wondered if I could have the beginnings of Lupus. Could this also be the cause of my problems with urination? Does SLE attack the prostate? How can I best get relief from this combination of problems. I feel unwell and very tired most days and I am getting rather depressed with it all as it has been like this for a number of years. All my GP suggests is NSAIDS.

Sounds like you might have a urine infection if it burns when you pee. Or you may have chlamydia. Go to your doctors, it will be 100% confidential, and explain the problem, they will test you. I have had urine infections, they're not nice. However, I sometimes find after sex, it burns a bit when I pee, for a couple of days, because I get a bit of tearing quite often.

I am 23 years old.For the last two months,I am experiencing a strange burning sensation during passing urine.I am a virgin and have no boyfriend. The burning just refuses to cease even after I wash my vagina with water two-three times. My periods are normal. What could be the reason?

Sounds like you have cystitis which you can get from diet, how much water or alcohol you drink, underwear..... You can buy drinkable solutions to cure it over the counter, they taste a bit nasty but will clear it up in a couple of days. In the mean time, drink lots of fluid but definitely get the meds, if it doesn't go away see your doctor or if it's recurring you may have to look more closely at your diet... Hope that helps! :)

I have had a urine infection and took my last antibioic today but the burning sensation around the vagina hasn't gone.. If anything it has got worse!! It doesn't itch, its the worst possible burning sensation I've ever experienced

I have been googling and I found some bugs can get immune to the antibiotics depends how many times you had it and how many times you took the same types as for me I only twice I had it as bad that I needed antibiotics rest I self cured with water and cranberry juice just make sure it's a sugar free one go with ocean spray types either normal or light I'm guessing light won't taste as bitter when I get it I keep going to the loo and the discomfort goes away but it comes back the next day do I keep this routine going along with my cranberry juice and water betwe yet I sometimes sit on the toilet drink cranberry juice try to lean forward whilst on the toilet too best way to get all te crap out I also googled it! I may of bantered on about how I handle my cystitis but I know it has nothing to do with hygiene cos I keep my bits down there fresh I don't soap it cos of the PH balance but I spray water from the shower head down there to rinse out the nastys I also keep my bum clean too cos sometimes if bits of poo get round your vagina you get cystitis so I use wipes when I go to the toilet but thus time I'll get flush able ones cos I blocked the toilet >.<

When I suffer with this I take a homeopathic medication called Antitis. It is a Potter's Remedy and it works every time for me. Also drink water only for a few days. Avoid acidic drinks and tea and coffee. You will need to speak to the shop assistant especially if you are taking other medication.

Hi John, Go to your G.P. I'm not sure if the burning is another issue based on what you wrote. Burning from the tightness or for example burning from peeing. You also might want to try slow masturbation sessions using a long, slow stroke along with the cream might help stretch the skin some but don't over do it.

please help me after having an erection if I dont masturbate my penis burns..its been more than 6months...whenever I have an erection I have got to masturbate.if I don't do that...then within 30minutes my penis starts burning...sometimes the burning starts after quite a long time.its HORRIBLE if I try to pee at that condition..the flow or speed of my urine becomes very slow.and then some semen comes out.sometimes I use hot water on my penis.it feels comforting.but eventually after peeing for more than 8-9 times the burning is gone.but if I have another erection and I Dont masturbate.then it starts all over again.even sometimes it starts right after masturbation.it seems to me that some semen is stuck in my penis.thats what is causing trouble.i shout and cry in serious pain.i can never explain how tough and painful it really is.(i used to masturbate daily..but now I try my best not to do it)

Hi Melanie, Sounds like you may have cystitis which is a bladder infection. If you see your doctor they will be able to give you an antibiotic, if it comes back again you can try and control it by drinking lots of water, cranberry juice & if you are sexually active, urinating straight after intercourse to avoid infection. But check with your doctor. Hope this was helpful!

hello I have recently got through what I think you are suffering from. At first I thought I had become allergic to my own cervical mucus I was also very itchy and burny on the outside with swelling also. The Dr treated me for thrush, then BV both diagnosis were wrong. I ended up diagnosing myself. I had CV -- Cytolytic vaginosis is a condition and not an infection, caused by the excessive growth of the useful lactobacillus bacteria around the vulva and vaginal area, caused because I had started taking probiotics (actimel drinks etc) so it caused a good bacteria overload in my vagina. As soon as I stopped probiotics it went away hope this helps you

I have the almost the same problem I have constant burning sensations and sometimes numbness in the vaginal area ..I seen 4 different Dr's who said first was a bladder infection then a yeast infection I\ve been on many meds and nothing cured it ..and I can't get a sex drive because of the awkward feeling and I always feel like I have to empty my bladder even when I just did then the burning gets worse..grrr someone help me

He's getting too excited too soon, you need to sit down and have a conversation with him about it, he's likely very sensitive about the subject and upset by it himself. Working slower for longer is one way, if he pumps too fast, it's likely the cause. You can also mix it up a little, fast, then slow, fast then slow. He'll be able to tell when he's close, so he can slow down and pay attention to you for longer. There are also desensitizing lotions available from sex shops, aswell as "penis" rings that will assist, aswell as add to the fun. If you think he's worth the time, make it work. There are also prostate exercises he can perform daily to help. Relationships are a two way thing, you need to work on area's of concern together with understanding if you want to be with eachother.

It might hurt and it might not. You two have to take it slow is all. Lots of foreplay so you get lubed up. A guy is ready in seconds, it takes a woman longer to get ready is all. you might have to remind him to go slow. repeatedly. The biggest thing is that you are lubricated.

is it the semen that is burning you? and now you have stopped him coming inside you you don't suffer with the burning sensation? because i get a really severe burning sensation too when this happens.

I have suffered from this vaginal burning for at least 14 yrs. I bumped into a web site only this past week which suggested I up my intake of echinacea 500 mg 4x a day, oil of oregano 500 mg 2x a day, and now I have incorporated incorporated vitamin C 1000mg 3x a day. The burning have subsided tremendously. I feel like finally I'm on the right track to being healed of this horrible burning!

U must try an control your mind an slow it down. .. This stress will effect you physically via alliments ... Look at swiss brand exceutive B vitiam tablets and same brand , complete woman vitiam .. Take each day... try to switch off for thirty mins a day, get out of house, walk, swim, go for a cuppa at the cafe, sit an look at water at beach, just some where you can just be alone an switch off. Do this everyday... Any issues in your life if they are not big, just gloss over them, dont think about them to deep. Save that energy for things that really r important.. Dont set such high standards for yourself.. Example going overboard with house chores. Slow you thinking down... Take small steps an fix them, do not take everything in as a whole.. Periods also can also playing havoc with you an worst when combined with other stresses.... Slow your mind down...

You have probably heard this a million times, but, everybody goes through puberty at different ages some are early and some are late. Some people even go through really slow puberty and some people go really quickly. I went through quick, but alot of my friends went through puberty really slow and have the same "problem" as you. Don't worry! And when swimming in water your balls get up tight to protect from the cold.

I often wondered what the intense burning almost annoying pins feeling was after attacks almost a burning so bad that the pins feeling almost itches so bad!!! My body does this a lot when its cold outside and I jog. My body warms up and bam it happens. Raynauds hasn't stopped my activity in jogging or sports neither has the burning aftermath. Bittersweet that others also suffer from this.

Hi there. I think now is time for you to get a bra because not wearing one can make them saggy at a young age . Bras give us support so they don't hurt when you run. Also if they have been hurting that may be a sign that they need support a bra can give :)
