Could consistent nose blowing and sneezing in the morning, and snoring at night time, be related? My father has had this problem for over a year now and will not seek help about it! After tonight’s episode of Embarrassing Bodies, I am thinking he may have polyps or maybe an allergy? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hi I have had what I thought was an on going cold for 4months now. I went to my gp and was told I had an allergy, I was given because nasal spray but did nothing, since then I have been back and seen a different gp and he advised a higher dose but I have already tried this and now I'm on avamys which I have only just started. I seem to be worse when at work (I'm a beauty therapist) but I'm constantly sniffling, sneezing, chesty, coughing etc , all my gps seem to be doing is just giving me different drugs to trial rather than looking at the problem. What else can I do and Is this even an allergy?

After getting the courage to speak to my GP about my stress incontinence, I have since had physio, tests and seen a specilist doctor who has said I'm very young to be put forward for surgery. I am a 32 year old female and have leaks when running, sneezing and coughing! It's embarassing and I am so very conscious people can tell. I have choosen to have surgery where they'll put a band around but he told me there is a chance the problem could become worse, and this has started to really worry me. He also said I can not have anymore children (I have two) and that hurts too. Are there any other options open to me?

I have a small lump on left side of scrotum. It hurts when I touch/squeeze it. Standing up for 5 min results in throbbing pain. Lying down with my scrotum a little elevated makes the pain die out. I'm 21 years old BTW. what is it? Also before there was lump, I get a pain in my scrotum after sneezing. Frequently. Like 3/5 sneezes, pain occurs in my scrotum.

I am generally the sick person in my family and I suffer from eczema all over my body which I control with a variety of creams. I also believe I suffer from hay fever (constant sneezing all year around) and now I believe I am allergic to citric acid. I discovered this last problem after cutting orange juice out of my diet and re-introducing it and the damage it caused to my skin was awful.I also notice it after eating or drinking anything which may have lemon juice in. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any similar reactions to citric acid and how they maintain a healthy lifestyle while not being able to eat a majority of fruits (at least the ones I like).

i had undergone appendectomy 8 yrs ago. my appendix had burst at that time, but the surgery went OK. but about year ago, i started experiencing constipation and diarrhoea and i had have a terrible pain right at the surgery scar that refuses to go away. it increases while walking or running at a stretch, coughing, sneezing, laughing, stretching my hands upwards. I also get it when sat down and i also suffer from frequent bloating of stomach with no proper reason. i also have difficulty passing gas as it increases the pain at the scar region. i had undergone ultrasound, abdominal x-ray, endoscopy with video and colonoscopy but they revealed nothing. but a tenderness remains at the scar region and i feel as if something just under the skin has got a bit inflamed or that something is wrong. i have this pain most of the time and it feels as if i have pulled a muscle or ligament. what is wrong with me?

Need help! For as long as i can remember ive had a sneezing issue. at first i put it down to allergies but it just cant be.. If im chilling at home i normally just stay in doors and do pretty much nothing, except general cleaning etc. this isnt an issue and doesnt cause me to sneeze. so its not a dust thing either. I have no pets, i only use 1 type of deodrant/shower gel which i know doesnt cause sneezing fits. I can be sat around perfectly fine one minute then just burst out in a sneezing fit, i end up sneezing for around 5-6 hours if not longer. my eyes feel like there going to pop, i end up with stomach pain, i sneeze with such force my throat and nose absolutely kill me. Ive tried all the over counter nasal sprays even the ones my doctor gave me ( which are pretty much the same as i get over counter anyway ) but these just cause more issues. i sneeze more, i feel worse and they do absolutely nothing. Please help, im sick of sneezing. ive tried everything! my gf doesnt wear nothing smelly around me, i dont have pets, my house is now pretty much OCD central.. I feel like just smashing my face on the floor sometimes.

Some guys squirt, some guys dribble. Both are normal. However, some guys report some control over this by comparing it to sneezing. They say that instead of just sneezing when one feels like it, they can hold off a few seconds and prolong the inevitable sneeze, but when they finally sneeze, it's more powerful. They've found they can do something very similar when about to cum and it will make the ejaculation more powerful and actually shoot.

2 years I was coughing & sneezing a lot! Went through all the med doctors gave. I even tried homeopathic with no success. Then I remembered that several years ago I had the same chronic coughing. During my break at work I use sleep on a couch & wake up with severe coughing, I stopped sleeping on it as it was covered with dust mites. 2 years ago It happened again, went through extensive tests with no results, it is then I remembered the sette with mites! I immediately replaced all my beddings & the sette (not made of material). Chants to wooden floors! My coughing & sneezing is gone! Please try it, it could be this! Now I replace my pillows & quilt every 3 months. Hope this helps!

Dear Doctors, I was suffering from runny nose all the time and frequent sneezing was quite embarrassing. So recently I started taking vitamin c 1000mg daily. Since then I have noticed that no runny nose anymore, significantly sneezing is completely stopped. I am quite happy about what vitamin C did for me, but the unfortunate thing is that i am seeing some blood when I pass stool. As well as minimal irritation and blood lumps . My question is that does vitamin C cause rectal bleeding? If it does how can I avoid bleeding without stopping vitamin C intake. I also would like to know what causes vitamin C to make rectal bleeding? Appreciate your time and answer.
