Conditions with symptom: 'sore anus'
Is it possible to get thrush around your anus? 2 days ago i hot in the bath and realised i was quite sore although heartfelt nothing all day leading up to it. When got out i was really sore around my anus, about an inch wide all around it and up to my vagina. Its generally red but with a raised bumpy edge which made me think maybe thrush? I tried sudocreme then thought maybe canestan would be better but its not helped so i have resorted to my old faithful tea tree and witch hazel cream as its cooling and soothing. I haven't had unprotected sex, or any sex actually lol. I bathe regularly and dry well so i just don't know but it is rather embarrassing :-(
Yes its possible! I went to my doctor and he prescribed me with 6 day cream for my vaginal area it has improved a little bit but need something directly on it. The thrush seems to get to the analysis very easily especially with women as there very close neighbour's.
I've actually got the same thing! Had it since first bank holiday in May. Started off very itchy then went really sore and what appeared to be bumpy red skin and my family who looked at it said it then seemed slightly blistered. So naturally I went doctors; they have me piles cream, that failed then Daktakort-steroid cream which relieved the soreness so I could actually walk again easier without the pain but now the itchiness is still present and all that there is now is like red bobbly bits (not best explanation I know). I returned to the docs they referred me to a sexual health clinic as thought it may be herpes got tested for everything whilst there and it wasn't neither was it any other STI. The doctors at the clinic have told me to stop using the steroid cream and just bath in salt water but it's so itchy still I just want it to go away :( if the witch hazel works for you let me know as ours sound similar x
Hi I have what looks like another anus between my anus and scrotum (much nearer my anus). It will expand and contract in line with my anus (if that makes sense),it is about the same diameter as a finger tip but it causes no pain or discomfort at all and ive had it as long as i can remember. What is it? Should I worry about it?
Hi. I'm a 30yr old male. I believe I have piles however they don't irritate me & neither are they particularly sore. That said, whenever I pass a stool, my anus bleeds a lot (evidenced on the toilet paper). I'm unsure as to whether this is the piles or another related issue with my anus?
Get your bowels checked and colon checked too. If u dont have any pain or lumps around your anus the it may nor be haemarroids or fissures (tear), because both of these hurt! Not trying to scare u but could be bowel cancer. Get checked!
ive just ben to the doctor after finding a large lump by my anus its sore and bleeds when i go the loo ,ive not had unprotectted sex so dont think it could be a wart i have to go to the gum clinic just incase before further tests, its itchy and very sore, could it be anything else help please
I'm a girl of 17 and For the past two months, when I go to the toilet for a poo it's very very painful. It feels as if my anus is ripping. I had a look last a few weeks ago and there was a sort of light purpley bit on the rim leading inside of my anus. I then had a look a few days ago and it looks as if a piece of skin has been ripped off. It's extremely sore when I poo and a little stingy when I touch it. Throughout the past few years I've experienced poos that almost feel too big to come out and it hurts. What's wrong with me ?
It probably ripped at some point because your poos are too big and solid, and now it can't heal because it gets pulled open again every time. I have the same problem sometimes but not as bad. I'm guessing constipation is your main problem, get some laxatives or try drinking more water and eating something like prunes.
have you been to the doctor i have ibs (irrital bowl symdrome) tht causes problems when trying to have a poo
i am 14 years old and for the past 2-3 months its been really sore, itchy and red between my bum cheeks near the anus. whenever i go to the toilet i sometimes find a spot of red blood on the tissue paper. its really sore to wipe and sometimes even unbearable. i have told my mum and tryed some sudocream which isnt much help. what shall i do? please help.
I have blister like spots on my buttocks which are increasing everyday. They are a little sore but not itchy. The arrival of these spots has coincided with a very sore chapped anus. I do not feel unwell in any other way so am baffled by this?!?!?

Hi there, I have noticed a couple of raised wart like lumps at the opening of my vagina, they can be sore sometimes. I also seen to get sore after sex, around this area, and around my anus. It looks like I have small tears. Another issue - my urine is smelly - and cloudy, it dosent hurt to urinate though. Help! I am 21 and female! Jayne. X
Okay, my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. We have unprotected sex and neither of us have ever been diagnosed with any STDs. For the past few months every time we have sex I get a burning itching feeling around my vagina and anus. I am prone to yeast infections and UTIs but they have never felt like this before. Now, about two days ago, he put a finger inside my anus. We have had anal sex before without any issues, but today I have been feeling very sore in that area. I just took a look in the mirror and I have a swollen red bump there....what is happening to me!?! We have never had an issue with any sort of STDs or rashes. What is this?
Hi, I'm a 20 yearl old male and for about 2 years now (it might even be longer I can't recall not having this problem actually) I've been suffering with a sore, itchy anus. There has been a 'discharge' as well, sometimes it is a clear like liquid that won't stop, on bad days it has soaked through to my jeans. Other times it is a very pale yellow-green greasy mucus like build-up. It smells bad and has been very embarrasing for me, it also itches more when the mucus is there and sometimes that is unbearable. There is blood coming from my anus too but only after I pass a stool (I have checked my stool and it contains no blood). I'm too embarrased to go to my doctor could somebody please help me. Thank you.
These problms are more common than people think. No body talks about them though so people suffer in silence. Your doctor will be able to help.People go to doctor with These sorts of problems every week.
I would go to the doctor asap, you would be surprised what they see everyday. You are just a human body to them nothing to be embarrassed about. or go straight to A&E when its bad and be seen by someone there.Must get it checked out though.
