I have just turned 17. Since my breasts first began to develop they had always seemed very low and had an irregular shape. My nipples are very large and point downwards and my breasts sag and are very low. From the information on this website I appear to have tuberous breasts. I have always been really insecure and do my best to hide them by wearing tight bras that keep them quite perky and high however I have weak ligaments in my shoulders and because of the tightness of my bras and the weight of my DD breasts my shoulders are often very swollen and I'm in quite a lot of pain. I really don't want anyone to see but if I showed a doctor would they actually be able to help me in any way?

I've had a sore throat for about a week now, I took a look today and can see that my tonsils are very swollen (patchy red and white) with a few white spots on them. My glands are very swollen as well. My tonsils are gradually getting more swollen. However, I have no other symptoms of tonsillitis; Having had it a couple times in my childhood I know its not that.

My 9month son has a very swollen tongue. He has been to hospital with it and we have been told that its just the way its developed. Lately he has it sticking all of the time and also has lumps on his neck which the doctor says is just swollen lymph nodes. it is only one side that is swollen and the same side of his neck with the lumps. Could this be the same problem as the boy from the monday night programme? Who would i have to ask my doctor to refer me to?

My breasts are size 6E (AUS) and my nipples/areolas are largish and quite puffy/swollen. I have looked up tuberous breasts but i don't think that's what i have because it's more just my areola. On top of this they are sensitive, get very itchy, dry, and sometimes leave discharge in my bra. I'm almost 16 and am wondering if there is something wrong? (also hoping they will improve a tad..) Should they 'fill out'/'flatten' as/if my breasts continue to grow? Is this the beginning of tuberous breasts and if so is there a way to prevent it? and/or could there be some infection in relation to discharge/itchiness?

Seek medical attention. That is not normal, soreness in the breasts can occurs when on a period and typically they can be tender and swollen. If your breasts hurt very frequently seek medical attention. If you think something is wrong and your current doctor says everything is fine GET A NEW DOCTOR not all of them will help.

your breasts tend to become tender or more swollen when you are on your periods and this is perfectly normal. You may want to use a bra with extra support, or just go without a bra on these days.

I am 14 years old and recently my breasts have become really sore and swollen and my nipples have became a lot bigger. there is also a lot of lumps which if i touch are really painful. is this serious? what is it? x

It always happens I'm 16. I hope nothing serious is going on. The first time it was really swollen, like the whole thing, but every time he does it now it just gets red around the vagina and semi-swollen , but this time whenever I walk or sit down I feel like I'm sitting on something or like ssomething is pushing against my opening. Please reply, anybody. :(

I'm 17 years old and ever since puberty I've hated the appearance if my breasts. I knew that something was wrong with me so I did some research and figured it out. I now know that I have tubular breasts and I absolutely hate them. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin at all and I just wish that they were normal. They are very far apart and my nipples are very swollen. I don't think I will ever be comfortable enough to take my shirt off in front of a boy. I hate looking at myself in the mirror because if my appearance. I can't afford surgery or any other type of corrective method so I guess I'm stuck looking like this. Anyways thanks for listening, I needed to vent. Xo

I have the exact same problem as you and I have been to the hospital, nhs, they can apply for funding if you want to have 'normal' boobs. I used to be so selfconsious of my boobs but I have recently got into a new relationship where he has seen my boobs and he doesn't mind. I have one A cup boob and one D cup. I'm just going on with my life now and trying not to let it affect me. I've told my friends and even some of my close boy friends and they are all fine with it and they told me not to be embarresed an you shouldn't be either just hold your head up high and it'll get better! Talk to the NHS! Xox

Do you have a uterus that tilts backwards? I do.. Now my question is, Does your abdominal area look swollen? The area from close to the belly button and downwards. I feel like I always look bloated. I can work out to "tighten" that region but it doesn't help. I still look swollen and it sucks. I just wonder if their are others out there who deal with this and what helps? Any ideas ladies? I've thought of having surgery to reposition uterus and hope to reduce the swollen appearance. Thank you.
