Conditions with symptom: 'tear in vagina'
I'm really quite concerned about my vagina lately. I'm in a monogamous relationship and my partner and I have regular sex. Sometimes during sex it's quite sore on my uterus or like he has hit my cervix. Surely that's not right...? And sometimes I find a very small tear at the bottom of my vagina that heals within a day or two. This occurs even if there is plenty natural or synthetic lubrication. Most recently I have received a very large tear that is almost right to my anus. We last had sex over a week ago but it is only within the last few days that it has really been giving me problems and I have noticed it. What should I do about it? Will it heal naturally? And how long will that take? And if and when it does heal, will it look like it used to? Will it look normal again? I'm quite a vain person and do have to admit that I "had" a beautiful looking vagina. My other problem is that I can't go to a doctor as I will be out the country for up to 6 months for occupational reasons. Please help. OH! And I'm also 24 years old and had many sexual partners. It's not like I'm a spring chicken that's never taken a penis before.
Thanks Nora. I've actually managed to get an emergency appointment at the doctors. They've taken a swab and prescribed me with antiviral pills as the doctor suspects herpes or another viral infection. I won't know for sure until the results come back. He also says its been lying dormant in my system unnoticed for years and that a stress factor has triggered it. I really don't know how to feel now. I'm shocked and ashamed and a little disgusted at myself. How can I have let this happen!? And what if I've infected my partner!? Is he still going to look at me and love me the same!? Surely he can't find me sexy anymore knowing I'm diseased for life...can he...?
It's called a vaginal fissure. It's totally normal. They always heal; just keep it cleanish. Dryness doesn't only refer to lubrication. The epidermis itself can be dry. I use olive oil or jojoba oil as a moisturizer. I also use Weleda calendula diaper care lotion for painful fissures. It contains zinc which is a natural antimicrobial. It also makes a rad deodorant.
im 16 and have been sexually active for a year, but everytime im intimate with my boyfriend,i have really bad pains through out and feels like my vagina is going to tear.I have been put off the idea of having sex all together.its the bones around my vagina that feel too tight for anything.I have been to the clinic to check for std's and they all came back clear.Im getting really worried now, please help.
Try masturbating, inserting a finger or two, and moving on to a dildo once you loosen up. Use plenty of lube, and go nice and slow. If all else fails, see your gynocologist. she may be able to help you decode what's going on.
You might be nervous, whe you're nervous you tense to you will be tigher.Just try to relax
Im 24 years old, and ever since I have been sexually active I have always experienced pain during intercourse. This has got progressively worse and I am now at a stage that I am unable to have sex without experiencing pain and discomfort with visable blood. I have seen sexual health consultants, my GP, been under a Gynaecology clinic and they finally discovered that when I have sex I tear in the opening of my vagina on my vaginal walls. These laserations then tear open each time I have intercourse. It appears there is nothing they can do for me, however for a 24 year old woman who is barely able to have sex I am running out of options. This is also extreamily frustrating for my partner. Is anyone able to help?
Sorry dear, I know hw yu feel. Maybe yu shd date a guy with a smaller penis, it will reduce the tear and enable yu enjoy sex. Possibly yu have a small vagina.
I have a central prolapse disc with full annular tear and no-one seems to be able to tell me where the fluid from the tear goes ? any info would be great
Hi everyone, Just recently i had gotten a tear between my vagina and i guess i would say 'butthole' cant think of the right term for it right now but every time i use the bathroom my piss will hit the cut and it stings badly. The crazy part is i havent had sex in almost 5 or 6 months & i had my baby a year ago. Im kinda freaking out here. I dont know if my vagina still tears from where they stitched me or its something major. Someone please help!
I had a baby 7 months ago also had a 3rd degree tear, got swabbed last week for an infection because sex has been really painful and I also tear and bleed a little, results came back normal, so I don't know what to do
I was aware of a small vaginal tear, but i didnt pay too much attention to it. Every time to have intercourse, even sometimes when being fingered, i bleed. A lot. I had intercourse today, and it hurt so much, and yet again bled. A lot. It's really embarrasing for me, and it never used to happen. Only in the last few months. I checked when i got home while still in pain -more so than usual- and the tear is now...quite big. And i'm worried it will need stitches? Any partner i have had has said i'm so small they think im a virgin. And everytime it hurts - It's not really stretched at all. Its realy hitting my confidence and i dont know what to do. From what i've looked at it appears it could be a second degree tear? But surely you only get that in child birth. I cant tell from the pictures on the internet how bad it is... Help me!
I have been experiencing an itch at my clitiros and viginal opening for the past month now it goes away whilst I have my periods and returns a couple of days after they have finished I have a small tear that keeps appearing at the top of my vagina near my clitiros and I have white substance in my vagina it also gets very red and swollen I am on birth control if that is any help really worried someone please give me an answer ?
I have a small tear between my vagina and my anus that will not heal up. It makes intercourse very painful. I have tried steroid creams but they were not very useful
Hi. Me and my husband have been together a very long time now, we don't have any children. We had it rough one night and well now my vagina has a tear in it. I was wondering how to heal it?
I had the same problem, I went to the doctors and they just explained to keep it clean and use a cream like sudocreme. After two weeks it was so much better and after a month it had healed altogether. Just don't try and have sex during the healing process, it will just re-tear and you're back to square one.
