I have the symptoms of Blepharospasm, but it seems to be directly linked to feeling tired all the time. Does anyone know if it's common to have both tiredness and Blepharospasm, for all I know it could be that the tiredness all the time has caused the Blepharospasm to occur. Thanks David

Every time I eat something carb based I always become extremely bloated, suffer from stomach pains, tiredness, become gassy and sometimes need to go the toilet immedianteley afterwards. After a recent visit to my doctors he informed me that it was because I am 18 and and have an unhealthy diet, this is not the case. I ensure I have my five day and have a salad everynight as part of my main meal, I do ocassionally indulge in chocolate, however this was not as often as he suggested. When I informed him of this he merely said it was my age.

Hi Tara, no I don't think there is anything you can take for tiredness. I would recommend trying the mebeverine again although there is alternative medicines that you can try. The only thing that can help tiredness is probably just a high energy diet? Although I find this hard cuz I can hardly eat anything!

I too have been very poorly on and of for last 4 years. I have never had a' official' diagnosis of Menaires Disease. And I still continue to work full time. The dizziness, tinitis and brain fog are my worst symptoms. I have had CT and MRI scans they came up with nothing!! My GP is no help whatsoever, I dread going to see him as he constantly tells me that it's stress and that it might be to do with my weight!! I have been given various medications over the years and none of them help!! I have attacks of dizziness without warning there is no pattern in relation to tiredness or stress they just happen. I can have an attack that lasts a day or one that can carry for weeks followed by the tinitus and a long term brain fog!! Recently I also have started to feel drunk all the time and the tiredness is unbelievable!! I just don't know what to do!! I really need to see my GP again as not getting better this time but I just know that he is going to tell me it's pyschological and as usual do nothing!! I am getting desperate for someone to help me!! The difficult thing physically I look fine and nonkne really understands!! I really just font know what else to do!!

Hello Tracey... I've had Spasmodic Torticollis for 20years now and been receiving Botox injections for 20years. About 7/8 years ago I found myself feeling very tired during the day and going to sleep only to wake myself snoring or snorting but still very tired! My snoring and tiredness got worse and worse...To cut a long story short I was eventually sent to a sleep clinic and they diagnosed Sleep Apnoea!! So I now wear a mask to bed that provides me with pressurised air [not oxygen], the idea being to supply me with extra air so I won't stop breathing during sleep. The whole exercise is supposed to put a stop to my excessive tiredness during the day and I suppose i'd have to say i've improved [at least I don't go to sleep while i'm holding my cereal bowl anymore] but there are still days when i'd gladly go back to sleep a few hours after getting up! Just how many of us with Spasmodic Torticollis DO suffer from excessive daytime tirdness?

Thanks. The video was straightforward and easy to follow. But it didn't mention the extreme tiredness that piles can cause

My daughter(12) tried propannol with limited success. She is now taking clonazepam which so far seems to be working. The main side affect to it is that it can cause tiredness but her dr. started her on a very low dose and worked up.

Only tiredness really. Not too bad if you take it early evening. Any side effects lessen the longer you take them. It can take up to four weeks to see any benefit so its worth a try. Help with my IBS as well. good for nerve type pains.

I'm 18 and I have really swollen tonsils that are red and have what looks like a yellow ulcer on one of them. I'm also experiencing tiredness and headaches. I went to the clinic yesterday she said there wasn't anything serious just a bit red and gave me penicillin which I've been taking but it's just getting worse and now it is a bit difficult to breathe. Is this just tonsillitis or something different???

I am 40 years old and am suffering from tiredness weight gain and always feeling really low, is this a sign of under active thyroid. Also my 11 yr old has a slight swelling on left breast and when pressed a small lump can be felt and it hurts her.

I am a 45 year old woman and over the last 5 years have become extremely claustrophobic. I even panic with my bed clothes on some nights and wish I knew what to do about it. I have to get into fresh air and space to feel like I can breath, I wish I could get rid of my problem. The only trigger I can link it to is stress and tiredness.

I am in the same position. Operation 6 years ago, repairs and hysterectomy (retained ovaries). Im 57 and over the last month have been experiencing terrible sweats and tiredness. Possibly the menopause. However, everything seems to have gone due south down below at the same time. Just plucking up the courage to go to my GP

I am now 46 years old but started with the menopause when I was 42. I also experienced your symptoms plus a startling weight gain and change in shape. My periods were very erratic, would last 2 weeks then none for 3 months etc. I went on HRT and gradually the symptoms have eased. I was determined to lose the weight which I have done but I still am thicker around the middle than I used to be-middle aged spread type of shape, despite being a healthy weight and going to the gym. HRT made a huge difference and I think the symptoms can be helped and managed. Hope this helps, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
