Conditions with symptom: 'vaginal clenching'
I am 24 and have had a painful jaw for 2 years now. I have been told it is due to clenching but the pain I experience is not consistent with this. I can't open my mouth very wide and it is painful to eat. It is severely affecting my life and is leaving me in awful pain every day. The consultant at my local hospital isn't listening to me and I'm desperate to get help. What can I do?

I am 31 years old had 3 vaginal births last birth was 3 years ago big baby and forcep delivery things haven't been right down there since and recently I have noticed a what I can only describe as a red ball which is blocking my vaginal opening - I was told 2 years ago I did NOT have a prolapse and just weakening of vaginal walls but this is now irratating and uncomfortable almost like it's rubbing when I walk it's really getting me down now please help
This sounds very much like my symptoms, I had two large babies a couple of years apart and after the second birth when I tried to do the pelvic floor exercises I couldn't feel a thing, I more or less gave up with them. A year on and I noticed a small red ball protruding at the back end of my vagina, I could feel it when wiping myself and could sort of push it back in. I also would leak wee and often feel an urgency like I was going to wet myself. I went to the dr who said it was a vaginal prolapse and the red ball was my bladder. I got referred to a gynaecologist who said operating was an option but as so young to have this complaint (35) they'd like to try some special physio first. I ended up having 6 months of gynae physio where I was taught to do the pelvic floor exercises properly (I'd been doing them incorrectly anyway!!) and learnt about how to change the habits of my bladder and have had to stop doing some exercises like running and any abdominal exercise which in turn have all helped. I'm still working on strengthening my pelvic floor but don't have now what's considered a prolapse so no more physio. The waiting list on the NHS for my area was 18 months, I enquired about private treatment and after the gynaecologist consultation the physio was £40 per session, it cost in total about £450. If you can afford it it's worth looking into. Hope this is of help, definitely speak to your gp and find out what options and help are available x
My tongue is really sore and so are my gums. I went to the dentist and I don't have gum disease or anything like that. My tongue is a bit red with little tiny white bumps and when I brush my tongue it bleeds. I sleep with a mouth guard on my bottom teeth to prevent damage when clenching so could that be why my bottom gums hurt?? Please help..
I'm 22 years old, have one child through vaginal birth. When my husband arrived we have a rough sex and insert some dildo on my vagina. After that I felt something wrong and it hurts...A month from now since we have that rough sex, yesterday I've notice when I went to the bathroom and wash mine, there's something pea-like size just below my vaginal opening. It only hurts when I put pressure on it. The color was just the color of my skin-tone, no vaginal discharge, no foul odor and no history of vaginal problems. I'm wondering what is this? I also tried massaging & having sitz bath, but nothings change! I went to the doctor this morning but they are all in holiday'vacation no check'up! Any answer would be appreciated! Thanks!
Do specific vaginal products such as feminine wash, sprays, wipes and powder affect the pH balance of the vaginal area? I use femfresh wash and spray but after watching an episode regarding washing the vaginal area, I wanted to check if such products are safe to use. They do state they are gynaecologist tested and approved.
Hi, im 20 and experience no pleasure during vaginal sex. I can get aroused during foreplay but vaginal sex does nothing for me, all i can feel is my boyfriend going in and out. Please can someone help me out. Thanks
I have a prolapse of the front vaginal wall. The effects are not distressing. I have some mild urinary incontinence caused by a weakened pelvic floor after having 4 kids. If I keep up the exercises then the leakage is minimised to when I have a full bladder and cough/jump on a trampoline. The prolapse does not cause me discomfort and sex is still good for me and my husband. I am overweight, almost obese and I know losing weight would be good for both the mild incontinence and prolapse. I would like to avoid surgery for as long as possible. It is not convenient at this time in my life nor are the symptoms that bad. Does anyone have any experience of using vaginal weights or vaginal electro exercisers and how effective they are? Are they approriate for some-one with vaginal prolapse? Where do I find a reputable supplier?
hi i have a bladder prolapse and have stated to use kegel8 electric impulse machine as i found doing pelvic floor exercises difficult. i have also started to do posture exercises from a vidio by katie bowman in america and have found these helpful it is still early days but i am hoping i will be able to manage with out an opperation i am not sure about sex as my partner left when he found out i had a prolapse.
what can be done for vaginal tears during intercourse?i have thin vaginal skin,im 49
Try replens or sylk - both vaginal moisturises. The vaginal skin thins a lot as you approach the menopause, and these can often help prevent soreness and tears
Hi I think I may have a type of vaginal fungus. Above my clit and around the inside of the outer vaginal lips it looks like white skin that peels off when i wash. I don`t seem to have any discharge though. Could it be Thrush? How can I treat it?
If you don't have any itching, or redness of the vagina, chances are you are allergic to something you are using. The most common things that cause this are soap, body wash, laundry powder/detergent, and toilet paper. I was suffering from this for about 3 months, and I tried thrush treatments, antibacterial creams etc, and I finally found out that the toilet paper I was using was reacting with my skin. There is obviously a chance that you do have something else and if you rule out all possible allergens go see your doctor again.
