Hi I have had weight loss surgery and lost 9 stone 9lb's, however since losing the weight, I now have excess skin on my stomach and due to weight loss on my breasts they are very saggy and to add insult to injury have inverted nipples which seem to have got worse since the weight loss, I am unsure whether or not to apply to my GP as I don't know if the NHS would allow this.

I am 49, around 17 stone and only 5 ft 4.how could i go about getting weight loss surgery?I have a bmi of 41 and that apparently is not high enough for me to be considered for a weight loss operation funded by the nhs.Unfortunately I haven't the means to pay for private treatment and have tried countless exercise programs and so many diets with the willpower of a slug as i also have polysistic ovary syndrome which makes it incredibly difficult to lose weight. I desperately want to lose weight and don't want to miss out on the fun active lifestyle the rest of my family are able to enjoy!please help!!

I'm nearly 18 and even a 34 A is much too big for me, but I daren't go any lower. I'm sure that this is not from my genes because on one side of my family the average size is are full B-C cups and on the other side full C cups and up. I did recently loose over 20kg in the span of a year, bringing me from a size 12 down to a 6-8, but even before the weight loss my breasts weren't much bigger than they are now. Could this weight loss have effected my breast growth?

I have PCOS and currently have large cysts on my ovary. (Will soon be surgically removed)I have awful periods, always really heavy and irregular. I was given tablets called 'Norethisterone'which helped to reduce the blood loss and eventually stopped the bleeding altogether. I still have pain to which i also have mefanamic acid tablets. Northisterone is not a contraceptive but if you did want a form of contraceptive too the mariner coil is really good, i will have mine within the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed you get it sorted.

hi I'm 20 years old , I have always had quite large breast for my frame but i have recently lost quite a lot of weight and my 34FF seem to be saging down .I am usure if its because of the weight loss as they have actually got bigger after i lost most of my weight but they seem to drop down, can anyone suggest what I should do as it makes me feel very conscious ,especially wearing a bikiny now that its summer.

Firstly ccongratulationsfor losing your weight. They should be supporting you and realise that this is affecting your mental health and hindering your further weight loss because of the sores and embarracement you feel. Unfortunately you may have to bare all to your dr so they can see the sores. Good luck and congrats again for your loss.

Hey, Im 26 and I also have pcos and asthma, I also have mild cerebral palsy. I'm on a diet called the exante diet. It seems it be working at the moment (Thought its not for everyone). Before doing this diet I was losing weight by eating extremely healthy. The weight loss did come to a stand still hence why I have undertaken the exante it. I am currently 18st 5lbs so I still have a way to go. Try going on weight loss forums an support groups. I find they can be helpful.

I have pcos and endo, took me 5 years to concieve my first child and did so on metformin,3 miscarriges then got my son on metformin again.I then went to a weight loss group and lost 4 stone shortly after i found i was pregnant with my 3 child no metformin no miscarrige all down to the weight loss!!!! Sorry ladies but loosing the weight is key to controlling pcos and getting pregnant......you want to be free from the symptoms or get pregnant, get the weight off!!!

I am 25 years old and wear a 32HH. I am the same i have tried to get a breast reduction on the NHS but was told that because i am over weight (im 4ft10 and weigh 10st 7lb) i dont qualify. i have tried to loss weight i go to the gym 3-4 times a week and spend 40mins to 1 hour 30 mins but i dont seem to be lossing weight just changing my body shape. i cant run on the tredmill as it gives me sores under my breast. i have been having physio on my back as my posture is bad. i have to buy a size 14 top and a 10/12 bottoms which rying to get a suit it very difficult as you can imagine. i just think that due to the whole BMI its so unfair and if my boobs were reduced it would help me loss weight as i could exercise harder and actually run on the running machine.

the doc will only tell u to loss the weight easy said then done trust me, ive had pcos since i was 17 and now 28 and have been trying for a baby for 4years and no luck, ive been back to the hosp and all they said was to loss my weight. i only advise i would give u is start the process early as it may take a while for have a baby with pcos.

hi i to am suffering this i have been trying for months now i have tried slimming world and tescos diet but with no weight loss i have had my thyroids checked normal i am at a loss

I still have this problem, my solution was to simply not buy fatty food and sweats when I went shopping, and it worked. now if I have a meal about 9 (which some experts say you shouldn't eat and some say you should) I get a sandwich or a bit of toast or some cereal. It's just about breaking habits or getting a new routine. Also, weight loss supplements are bad for you and should only be taken for a maximum of 2 months, a lot of supplements are fine but a lot of weight loss supplements can be damaging to you're health always read the label.

Im the same i cant loss weight since iv given up smoking , i go to the gym three times a week and still i cant loss nothing it aint fare im only 37 and i weigh 14st 6 and im only 5,3 so i look pregnant all the time , what can we do , help before i crack .

Hey I'm 18 and about 8 and a half stone. That doesn't seem too bad but I'm only 5ft 4. I used to be over 10 stone and I decided at New Year to lose weight. Now nearly 8 monts later the weight loss seems to have stopped and I don't know why because I've been dieting and excersising like normal. Why has the weight loss stopped? I want to lose at least another half a stone, and what is the normal weight for me? Please help

hi i'm 35 and have had food allergies and then intolerences all of my life. i have 3 children that are also affected by food issues . i have had every test going and the results are normal. i did exclude dairy out of my life and things improved dramatically, i had energy and put some weight back on. but then it seems my body decides what it doesn't like and changes all the time. things are getting progressively worse for me and the weight loss is ridiculous let alone the effects its having on my cognitive abilities and that of my children.my symptoms list is longer then a novel. initially i came on here for advice from someone who knows as Drs lack the knowledge to deal with such issues, i was hoping to find an informed individual or a referral to someone that does? as i dont know how much more of this i can take, there comes a point where fighting for a normal functional life becomes tiring especially with weight loss. my latest symptom is extreme heat from my upper stomach that is hot to the touch and waking up in a pool of my own sweat (more weight loss) that continues all day? one doctor asked me,what i wanted him to do!!!
