Conditions with symptom: 'withered hand'
Hi im 50 yrs old i don"t have gout but i have crps in my hands and left arm their is no cure for it, so now im waiting to see if the surgeons will ampitate my left arm from the shoulder and my right hand.do you know if they take my right hand could they fit me with a hand i can use
hi there i too suffer from crps ,and have it in most of my body now i have had it for 3 years and aqm now on waiting list for a spine cord stimulator i was told that surgeon s do not amputate anymore as it only make the crps spread tp the opposite side of body ,have you seen anyone from the pain clinic there are other remedies to help with the pain ie morphine patches ,pregablin ,lidocaine patches ,and also i am using a pain machine which can be bought from most chemist s or boots ,nerve blocks are also used but as you said there is no cure its just finding the right way to cope with the excruciating pain i hope this helps you
amputation is one of the worst things u can do for rsd. it could make ur rsd spread to other limbs. i have had rsd for 3 years in my left leg. i have tried nerve blocks and cold laser treatment and spinal cord stimulator there are many options that u can try. but please dont do an amputation unless u really have too.

Financially i am poor to try for any treatments.so please suggest me .
In about March 2010 after masturbating and then sleeping without washing the next day I had developed white patches on my penis head (glans). Well I regret it now but basically I panicked and scratched the skin badly and left my self with scar marks there, almost like deep lines on my penis head. Ever since the skin on my penis can be very dry. The skin now a days looks ok when my penis is flaccid and it can be ok when I get an erection. But after I get an erection and the penis goes flaccid again the skin looks withered, dry, wrinkly and scaly. The skin goes like this also after ejaculatio. After being to the doctors I have used Canesten but to no affect. I am now using Bio OIl to try and stop the skin going like this but im not sure if this will work, I am a virgin so I know the problem is not an STI. Does anyone have any advice?? Thanks.

Hi I am 30years old but my body is okay but I am concern about my arm Hand , leg . It's look like women hand n leg . Is there any solution that I can make it?
Every morning when I wake up my right hand is completely numb. It has been like this for several weeks it takes at least a minute before there is any feeling in my hand. What could be the cause of this?
I have cubital tunnel, a disorder of the nerves where my "funny bone" nerve is pinched in my elbows, causing numbness of either the pinky/ring finger side of the hand or the whole hand. It can take a long time for feeling to come back. It can also be really painful, too. I usually wake up with fully numb arms and/or hands. It feels like I have been sitting on them all day. The best thing you can do for this, before having to take the doctor route, is to lay your arms out flat while you sleep. You wrap towels around your arms to keep them flat. If you wake up in the morning and your hands aren't numb, then your problem is you're sleeping in a position that is causing your arms to bend. If not, or if it lasts much longer or becomes painful definitely talk to a doctor. But, whatever you do, don't go the surgical route unless it's REALLY painful and REALLY affects your life. I've gone the surgical route. It's really painful, gives you a painful scar, and REALLY hurts when you hit it!
i am 17. on my left hand near my thumb my hand shakes (in that specific spot) it lasts about ten seconds and comes every 5-10 minutes. Can anyone explain this?
I have a hard lump in the top of my hand ive had it for about 7 years , I got it after being in a fight . it doesnt really hurt untill the winter comes and when i bend my hand down it looks like it wants to pop out .
I am 18 and have been playing the piano for almost 8 years. Recently, my left hand has had tremors and it is harder to play the piano. My fingers in the left hand miss the target key or they slip off. I also have the same problem when I type. My parents think it is from the ADD medicine I am taking, but it has never been this bad. I have also played the violin for 12 years, and it seems harder to play. When I hold something or just hold my hand up, it really shakes a lot. It sometimes tingles. Is this benign essential tumor or not? and is there a way to fix it?
I hope by now someone has pointed out to you that the last word in your potential diagnosis is "tremor" meaning "shaky" and nothing to do with a tumour (a lump somewhere) in that particular diagnosis. Of course I't is very important for you to see your G.P. - I know this can be quite daunting especially if you don't currently have one If you don't then contact your local hospital to find a G.P. practice near to you to register. I'm not exactly sure when my tremors started( 3-5 years ago maybe more) but I finally felt the need to do something about it some 8 months ago. I was initially (and currently) prescribed Propanolol in various dosages and it has definitely helped me.
dont get bouts of it 2 fingers on my left hand plus my hand cant hold anything havent got enough grip 2 hold knife 2 cut food been like it for months pins and needles aswell
