It sounds like a fungal infection, I've had a similar to what you describe and my gp gave me an anti-fungal cream for it which worked superbly!

I have had impetigo 6 times in the space of a year. It is always in the same place just under my bottom lip, which is now scared. I have been prescribed fucidin and oral antibiotics costing me a fortune at the chemist. It is always little tiny blisters that ooze and then go yellow and crusty. Seems to happen when i get stressed. I don't want it anymore it stress's me out even more any help would be great...

Are you sure it is impetigo? You may want to check "dermatitis herpiformis". It is related to gluten sensitivty/intolerance. Good luck!

Helen, ask for a prescription of RETAPAMULIN CREAM from your GP , stings at first but leave it on, it's working. It is awesome. Works very quickly. Start taking Acidophilus regularly, can get this from health food/Hollant and Barrett.

This happened to mine! I'm not sure if it's normal or not because not many people I know have it pierced, but if you carry on cleaning it regularly (but make sure to not over-clean it!) it should go away; I can't remember how long it took to disappear because I've had mine practically 3 years, but because it is a cartilage piercing it will take at least 12 months to heal in general. Savlon isn't really the best, you could try Sea Salt Soaks, they work wonders in taking out all the nasty bacteria from your piercings. To make it you need a quarter teaspoon salt per 8oz (250ml or 1 cup) of distilled warm water, soak your ear in there for around 5-10 minutes, and rinse it with clean warm water afterwards. Make sure the salt is non-iodized sea salt and NOT table salt (this has lots of chemicals in your piercings really don't need or like). Your tragus should be in tip-top shape in no time :)

quit using the spray. this is sort of part of the healing process but honestly just use regular anti bacterial soap and water. just be gentle. it can take a little while to heal and every once in a while it can get crusty and feel uncomfortable. after you clean it with the anti bacterial soap and water. rinse with water and then take a cotton swab, VERY GENTLY and make sure to get it dry. do this multiple times a day. I suggest doing this while in the shower. while cleaning make sure you move it just a little back and forth

Hi, I'm 15 and have been having vagainal discharge for over 2 years, I haven't had my first period yet but have all the normal signs of development. I'm thinking it could be something to do with my weight as I'm only 42-44kg. It's really annoying. The discharge is pale yellow or white and sticky before it dries all crusty. It's really getting on my nerves and I'm just hoping this is normal. Thanks

I'm 17 and I have inverted nipples and lately my left side has become really itchy (sometimes lined with dry crusty skin even if i use lotion) and sometimes numb, sometimes extending to by whole boob... is that an ok thing to happen?? I'm not in a position to go see a doctor so if anyone can shed any light I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

A friend of mine waxed her legs as per usual with the regular strips she uses frequently. This time, her front lower legs came out with angry yellow large spots surrounded by red irritated skin. Looks as though there as hundreds and when she squeezes them, lots of yellow fluid comes out. Seems to be extreamily painful for her, and she can hardly walk. What is wrong with her and what does she need?

My boyfriend has had a rash for two years now I have it its a flat slightly red rash over body

I have had impetigo an uncountable number of times now. It is always the same, around the base of the left side of my nose and the top of my lip on the left side, once it spread up inside my left nostril. I have been prescribed oral antibiotics, naseptin, fucidin and lord knows what else. No one has ever caught it off me including my partner who doesn't seem remotely bothered and gives me kisses regardless. It is always little tiny blisters that ooze and then go yellow and crusty under my nose and the one on my lip tends to just stay like a large blister that oozes after a day or two. I already have scaring on my lip and I would really like to avoid it getting worse. My GP never seems to prescribe anything useful and I am a little bit sick of forking out money for them to tell me the same stuff and prescribe the same treatment with no positive outcome. I am going to try the tea tree oil, but is there a recommended way to keep it away? I get it every 2-3 months probably and that's been pretty consistent for 2 years now. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Yes. That mole sounds atypical and it should be checked. If there is any change that needs to checked aswell.

Wash the outside parts daily with mild soap and warm water. It is very important to keep clean. Better to shower, and do that at there. You don't need to wash the inside, the body does this naturally. Sometimes your second period won't come right away like expected. It may not become regular right away. If your dad is a single parent, then you will need him to get you pads or tampons. There are directions, but if you need help, you can talk to him, he had a child and knows more about women than you may realize. If not, seek out a female you trust, a guidance counsellor, school nurse, social worker, even go to a clinic or doctor just to discuss what is normal. If you don't want to away what you're doing say, "I need to see a female doctor, to discuss feminine health"

I previously had a very sore nose, with a scab, my nose kept bleeding and hurt when touching it. It then turned a little yellow, crusty and weeping. After 3 weeks it didn't go away so I decided to visit the Dr who said it'll likely be a staph infection. I was treated with antibiotics and it went away a week later. I continued with my antibiotics and finished the course. A month on and I have a sore up my nose again which is starting to get progressively worse. The sore is on the septum wall and itchy, it's not as bad as last time but in a few days it's gone from a bump to a sore. I'm confused as to what it is. As it starts off as a bump and the skin breaks and creates a sore. Any ideas? Thanks

I've had that for years with long gaps in between. It is very sore, I feel like I am growing sharp crystals up my nose, it bleeds, is nippy and scabby!! With me it is Strep B, I get prescibed Naseptin, it does work. Have it at the moment, so just about to get another swab done and try and find out why it keeps coming back!!
